In short: if you sign up, we keep your email address to send you occasional updates. That's all we ask for. We never sell it. The site uses cookie-free visit statistics that don't identify you.
This notice covers the cadgent.ai website and our email updates. It is run by Cadgent Technologies Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Cadgent Workshop will have its own privacy notice.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for updates. We don't ask for anything else.
- Where you came from, if the link you followed says so (for example, a link from our LinkedIn Page). It is stored with your email address so we know which channels work.
- Anonymous visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, country, and page load times. It does not use cookies or identify you, and we can't link it to your email address.
Why
To send you occasional updates about our work, and to understand how people find the site. We don't sell or rent your email address, and we don't use it for anything else.
Who handles it
- Loops (loops.so, Astrodon Corporation) stores the email list and sends the emails. It is based in the United States, so your email address is stored there.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides the visit statistics. Its servers are worldwide.
Both act on our behalf under their own data processing terms.
Consent and unsubscribing
After signing up you get a confirmation email. You are only added once you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@cadgent.ai and we will remove your address.
Cookies
We don't use cookies for analytics or advertising. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from bots.
Email tracking
Our emails don't track whether they were opened or which links were clicked.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, the email provider keeps a record of the unsubscribe so you aren't emailed again.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted: hello@cadgent.ai. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes
If this notice changes, we update the date at the top. If it changes how we use your email address, we tell subscribers by email first.
